My past experiences really have driven me to want to get the most out of this lifetime. I have had the privilege to have gone through things that have completely shaped me into the person that I am. My goal to always want to be the healthiest version of myself mentally, physically, and spiritually motivates me to want to share that same goal with others. This mission is what drove me to further my education and attend the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to receive my certification as a health coach.
At the age of 25 I was told I had Hypothyroidism and then shortly after having my first son at the age of 29 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. This relatively common auto-immune condition. I received this diagnosis within the first month of starting school and found that the timing could not be more perfect as I was determined to not let this be just a lifetime of medication and unpleasant symptoms. I decided I would get to the root of where it had stemmed. After implementing new healthier habits, a better mindset, and working on the areas of my life that needed attention I found that almost all of my symptoms had dissipated. But most importantly developed the self awareness around my own health that would allow me to stay on track with healthier eating, better habits, and a mindset that would allow me to get back on track when I fall away from the lifestyle I want to lead.
My wellness coaching programs empower clients to take charge of their health by helping them define their personal vision of wellness and create realistic, sustainable goals. Through consistent support and accountability, clients are guided to build healthier habits, improve their mind-body connection, and make informed choices about nutrition, movement, stress management, and self-care. As a wellness coach I encourage behavior change by fostering self-awareness and confidence, helping clients replace limiting habits with positive ones in a manageable, step-by-step way. The result is a lasting improvement in overall well-being, energy, and quality of life—achieved not through quick fixes, but through personalized, meaningful change.
